Existing Users: Enrolling in MFA

  1. Start by going to app.kalderos.com and you will see a sign-in page. Enter the email address and password that you use to access Kalderos for Covered Entities and click ‘Continue.’

  2. You will be prompted to select one of two authentication methods:  Authentication App (e.g., Google Authenticator, Okta Verify), SMS (text message)

    • Using an authenticator app for MFA:  

      • Users should open their preferred authentication app and scan the QR code. This will link their Kalderos account to the authentication app and begin showing dynamic, time-sensitive codes.

      • Users should enter the code that is shown in the authentication app, then click ‘Continue.’ 

      • At this point, MFA enrollment is complete and the user should be able to access their Kalderos account.

    • Using SMS (text message): :  

      • Users who prefer to use text message for authentication should click ‘try another method’ and select ‘SMS.’

      • Enter a telephone number where the user can receive text messages. This should prompt a text message to be delivered containing a unique 6-digit code. 

      • Users should enter the code that is shown in the authentication app, then click ‘Continue.’

  3. At this point, MFA enrollment is complete and the user should be able to access their Kalderos account
